Review & Rave: Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque

(My Ratings: Disappointed, Good, Great, Love)
After a long dry winter in Minnesota my hair was very dry (especially the ends).  I knew I needed to try another conditioner and while I was in line at Ulta they had a single use pack of the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque for $4.00 (a great way to try out the product). The single packaged could even get you 2 uses if you do not have a ton of hair.  The packaging claims: it is a hair reconstructor that will penetrate and rebuild damaged hair for improved health, shine and elasticity.  Great for color treated hair (mine is not), and course hair (mine is).   Just put the masque on clean wet hair and allow up to 7 minutes before rinsing (no heat needed).

I followed the instructions and my hair was drastically softer, but not heavy at all!  The product is expensive, but it is one I will continue to purchase.  The next day three people at work mentioned how nice my hair looked.

Price: About $30.00 USD (for just the repair masque)
Size: 8.5 fl oz or 250 ml
Texture: Thick conditioner
Packaging: Plastic Jar
Other: The scent is not my favorite

I bought mine at Target in a pack with the shampoo (it said extreme value), but I know you can buy it at Ulta too.  Let me know if you try it and what you think of it.

  1. Do you have to use it every day, or is it once a week, or...? It sounds great, my hair is always frizzy!

  2. I use this twice a week in the winter and once a week in the summer. Once a week can make a very big difference. I also have hair with a mind of its own:)

    1. My hair is frizzier in the summer than it is in the winter. I will have to pick some of this up and give it a try. Thanks!
