How to tie a Scarf: #1 (The Loop)

In fall, winter & spring typically your department stores stock up on scarfs ... all kinds of them ... small, square, long, thick, thin ... in all colors and fabrics.  This is because scarfs are an easy (an normally inexpensive way) to make your existing wardrobe more flexible.  They can add a pop of color, pattern, or interest to an outfit.

Take a plain t-shirt (long or short sleeve) and a pair of jeans.  Now, you look like a lot of other people you will run into on the street or in the stores.  Do not stop there ... add a scarf ... it adds interest!

Lets start with an easy one. Here is what I call the Loop.  For this one you will need a medium to long scarf.  It can be thick or thin.
For this look I used the black knit scarf on the right.
  1. Fold your scarf in half the long way
  2. Pick up the scarf holding the folded end in one hand & the two loose ends in the other
  3. Put it behind your head
  4. Put your hand through the folded end and bring it down in front of you
  5. Pull the two loose ends through
  6. That is it :)

Hope you like it. Let me know if you try it out.
