I was not planning on doing a post about cream eyeshadows, even though they definitely deserve the attention ... until 8 new shades of the Maybelline Color Tattoos came out recently (these are cream eyeshadows). I thought it was worth explaining their value.
I am obsessed with good cream eyeshadows. Not the ones that crease. Cream eyeshadows have come along way over the last 5 plus years. Trust me, I get if you are skeptical. I was too ... until I found good ones, but even then ... I found they were fairly expensive. Then I found the Maybelline Color Tattoos. They are good and fairly economical. Normally $5- $7 when not on sale, and $3-$5 when on sale. They are also much easier to get, since you can pick them up at Target, Walgreens and other stores.
Cream eyeshadows can be very pigments and can be very versatile. They can be used as a base to apply power eyeshadow. This will add depth, dimension and typically better color. Good cream shadows can also be used by themselves for a gorgeous look. If you love the following
